This year's Festival is October 15-16. To make it all come together, there are deadlines. If you're not coming to the Festival this year, we hope you can make it next year!
TIP: It's always better to think of the opening date as your deadline, not the last day, since space fills up before the deadline date. Don't be shy about asking us questions. Direct them to the contacts listed on the linked pages below.
Aug. 31 - Deadline to enter sheep in the New York Bred Ewe Sale. Registration open soon.
NEW Sept. 15 - Deadline to make your Pre-Sale souvenir purchases to pickup at the festival. Read the INSTRUCTIONS.
BACK AGAIN: Sept. 1 - Festival Art Contest Deadline to submit artwork. $1500 first prize!
2023 - Deadline to enter sheep into the Bred Ewe Sale - stay tuned next year, no Sheep Sale this year.
Oct 1 - Deadline to enter items into the many Fiber Contests, or register for the Fleece to Shawl team contest online. Registration opens Sept. 9, The 2022 Fiber Arts Contests featured breed will be Corriedale and the Fiber Contests "Item of the year" will be Fingerless Gloves. This all makes sense when you read the Official Contest Rules, Terms and Conditions.
Oct 4 - Deadline to enter raw fleece in the Fleece Show and Sale, or until 700 fleeces are registered, whichever comes first. Reg opens Tuesday Sep. 5.
Oct 11 - After this date, workshop registrants will not receive e-tickets to get into the festival, and will need to go to a certain gate with a list to get in Sat. or Sun.
Oct 13-16 - Deadline to get into Workshops (though walk-ins are welcome) Registration open, classes filling up quickly.
Oct 14, 7pm - Deadline to drop off mounted photos for Photo Contest. Enter photos online
2pm Oct 16 - Deadline to vote for the People's Choice Award in the Photography Contest
Tickets on sale now for the Festival. If you're taking a Workshop, you might have a pass to get in. Check the terms with your class. Volunteers get an e-ticket for the day(s) they are helping.
